Doug Wojcieszak, Sorry Works! Founder and President, has published an article in ASHRM's Journal of Healthcare Risk Management.  The title of the article is, "Disclosure & Apology Literature: Gaps and Needs," and it can be accessed through the early view portal.  The print edition will be released soon.

Twenty years ago Dr. Steve Kraman and Ginny Hamm, JD published their ground-breaking paper that shared their experience and data conducting disclosure and apology at the Lexington, Kentucky Veterans Administration Hospital.  We've come a long way since Steve and Ginny's first paper.  This new article in ASHRM's Journal reviews the scholarly literature in disclosure & apology, highlights the strengths of the disclosure movement, and identifies gaps and needs for the disclosure movement going forward.  Please check it out and let colleagues know.

Sincerely,

- Doug
